MOVEMENT EDUCATION FOR GROUPS & ORGANISATIONS
Help your team understand movement more clearly
Practical, engaging education for organisations and teams who want to build a deeper understanding of how the body moves. Sessions are tailored to your people, your setting and the questions you want to explore.
Discuss a tailored session
Movement is more than a collection of parts
The way we move reflects how the whole body works together. Looking beyond individual muscles or joints can help us ask better questions, recognise meaningful movement patterns and think more clearly about movement.
Theis education brings movement concepts together in a practical, accessible way. The content is shaped around your groups' interests, experience and goals.
Build a broader understanding of movement
Sessions can be tailored to explore such topics as:
Whole Body Movement
Explore how different parts of the body contribute to coordinated movement
Stability and Control
Consider how the body organises movement and responds to changing demands
Gait and everyday movement
Look more closely at the movement patterns involved with walking and daily activity
Movement Reasoning
Develop a clearer way to observe movement, ask useful questions and connect what you see with what you want to understand.
Experience movement as a whole
A workshop can include a guided movement class informed by Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) principles, to explore flow, flexibility, breathing and whole body coordination. Using the body as a tool for learning, participants can notice how different body parts work together and experience movement as an integrated whole.
The class is adapted to the group and the setting. It offers a practical way to explore movement concepts, connect ideas with experience and reflect on how the body moves as a unit.
Movement isn't only something to observe. It's something to experience.
Education shaped around your group
Every organisation has different people, priorities and questions. Education can be tailored to suit your group and the time available.
Workshops
Practical sessions that introduce movement concepts and give participants time to explore them
In-Service Education
Focuses education designed around the interests and learning needs of your team
Tailored Programs
A series of sessions developed with your organisation around an agreed focus
We'll discuss your aims and your group before recommending a format.
